We had so much fun camping up in Mackay! It was a drive but so worth it! Thanks Buffats for inviting us along and showing us the beauty of this place!
We went swimming in the reservoir and we each kept our shoes on...Steve forgot to put sunscreen on his feet underneath the crocs he was wearing...this was the result...polka dot feet :)
Our little visitor...Nathaniel was yelling "Theres a skunk...theres a skunk..." We didn't think he was serious! Then we saw it...What an adventure! Steve went down the bank to warn the older men that were fishing just down from us that a skunk was on its way...the one guy had a brace on his leg...and he told Steve that a skunk had snuck up behind him the other day on a dock while he was fishing and he jumped in the lake to get away and broke his leg in the process...he was needless to say a little jumpy about another skunk heading his way.
